Price: $30 000.
In 1972 Mark Levinson had everything ready to make a complete system except the speakers. So it took the best tweeter, medium and bass speakers he could find and assembled them together. The LNC-2 was used as a filter, and some ML2s were providing volts and amperes.
As far the system I've heard in Le festival du Son (march 1976 ?) also included a Goldmund turntable with an SME arm, the LNC-2 active crossover, and an ML-1 preamp.
Some (happy) owners of an HQD system :

If you read German, you can take a look to this article in HiFi Exclusive of January 1 1981. Contains many pictures (ML1, ML6, ML7, JC-2, ML-2, Thorens etc.).
There is another setup I don't know much about. It uses a Janis subwoofer instead of the Hartley, and a Bose 1801 amp. See the following note.
Note :
This site (The electrostatic loudspeakers circuit) also have interesting informations about this system (pictures and a review). You browser must know about javascript to access the content of this site :( While you're here, i've stole them this pictures too :)
