I think the basic circuitry in those two amplifiers are (more or less) identical. I remember I read in magazines that after John Curl left Levinson, or they stopped to co-operate, that Levinson re-designed the (external) power supply and renamed it ML-1. That could of course be checked if one have pictures from the inside of the amplifiers. One could just check the labelling on the active modules I guess. I also think that at least some of the earliest JC-2s had RCA connectors, not CAMAC.
